The length of any residential house painting job will depend on the amount of work required. Typically, an average size house can take up to five days to complete however there are some variables to take into consideration such as the condition of the walls, the weather and how many painters we have on the job. Once we understand the size of the job, our team will be able to provide you with a more accurate estimation of how long your job will take to complete.
This depends on the extent of the job. If you require a full repaint, we recommend waiting at least two to three days before returning home to allow the paint to fully dry and fumes to dissipate. We will be able to provide you with our recommendations as to whether or not staying at home is advisable throughout the duration of your job once we understand the scope of work required.
Making sure that your painter is licenced is extremely important. The Queensland Building and Construction Commission is a government body that protects consumers against defective work. They have the power to enforce any licenced painter you engage with to rectify any work carried out on your property that is deemed inadequate.
An adequately insured painting company should have both public liability and workers compensation insurance. This ensures that any damage done to your property by the painters or any injury incurred by the painters whilst working at your home is covered by insurance which is why we strongly recommend engaging a residential painting company that is properly insured before any work is carried out at your residence.
